Requirement for
Filing New Trademark/Service Mark/Collective Mark Application
- Power of Attorney, one for each application, simply signed
without legalization (may be sent by fax or email with the understanding
that the original will follow).
- Declaration of Ownership, one for each application, simply
signed without legalization (may be sent by fax or email with the understanding
that the original will follow).
- 30 prints of the mark for each application (can be prepared
locally if requested)
Size: min. 2 X 2 cm max. 9 X 9 cm
Please be advised that the Registrar only accepts the prints of
the mark printed on the usual printing paper (not on the photographs
paper) which the layer is not too thick.
- In convention case:
Priority Document to claim convention priority.
- On collective mark application:
Notarized copy of the “Regulations concerning the use of
the Collective Mark.”

Requirement
for Filing Cancellation Action Against a Trademark Registration
- Special Power of Attorney, legalized up to the Indonesian Embassy/
Consulate. This Special Power of Attorney is required for the
case at the Commercial Court and the Supreme Court. The draft
thereof will be forwarded to you if your client wishes to file
the cancellation action.
- Copies of certificates of registrations of your trademark in
other countries. Said copies are required in order to prove that
your trademark is a worldwide famous trademark.
- Invoices and bills of lading to other countries including in
Indonesia (the earliest and the latest one).
- Brochures and catalogues (if any).
- Advertisements (if any).

- No special signed document required.
