Requirement for
Filing New Industiral Design Application
- Documents that should be due by the time of filing:
- Drawings and Description thereof:
informal drawings (may be sent by fax or email) will be sufficient.
Formal drawings prepared on your side will be useless since it
should be re-prepared and translated into Indonesian.
- Power of Attorney:
merely signed, no legalization required (may be sent by fax or email, with
the understanding that the original should be submitted to the
Indonesian Design Office within 10 days as from the filing date).
- Document that should be followed:
- Assignment:
merely signed, no legalization required. Should be follwed within
10 days as from the filing date.
- Declaration of Entitlement:
merely signed, no legalization required. Should be followed within
10 days as from the filing date.
- Priority Document (if any) and English translation thereof
(if the Priority Document is non-English document):
should be followed within 10 days as from the filing date.

- Power of Attorney, simply signed by assignee, no legalization
required.
- Declaration, simply signed by assignee, no legalization required.
- Deed of Assignment, signed by assignor and assignee, and subject
to legalization up to the Indonesian Embassy/Consulate.

Requirement for
Filing Recordal of Change of Name and Address
- Power of Attorney, simply signed, no legalization required.
- Certified copy of a letter from Chamber of Commerce or Notary
Public confirming the change of name/address.
